Should limb armor be Level 1 or Level 2?
Level 1 is the certified baseline and fine for most street riding; Level 2 absorbs more energy and is worth the small extra bulk if you ride fast or far. Prioritize a Level 2 back protector first, then upgrade limb armor if the budget allows.
